If you read my first post, you know that I made 4 new accounts to investigate the cliques. I mentioned that I was amazed by the new Woozen selections and would post about it later, so, here's my post!
Woozworld often changes the "new member avatar creation" to make things "better" for new Woozens. I can't disagree that the initial poorness that comes along with being a new member is annoying, but Woozworld gives new members so many clothing options that sooner or later they're going to end up looking like they're level 50 as soon as they join Woozworld.
Now, while I have a lot to say about the new clothing options and such, I know Rosie already did a post on that. (If you want to check it out, click here) So I'm going to focus on the new tutorial.
When I created the accounts for my clique investigation, I always clicked the "I'll pass" option because after 4 years as a Woozen, I didn't think I needed a tutorial. (I'm pretty sure if you've reached the point where you're now reading Woozworld blogs, you should probably hit "I'll pass" as well.) I think this is a nice addition because I did not like the agony of having to learn how to use the Shopz every time I made a new account.
But this is the first time I'm going to do the tutorial, so let's see what happens.
The first thing you see, no matter whether or not you skip the tutorial, is a little mini-lesson on obtaining new items. It is pretty much a cheesy conversation and it just tells you that you can use the Marketplace, Shopz, and trading to get new things.
Now, here comes the actual tutorial.
The first difference I noticed is the Unitz options. They're actually furnished!
The decorations aren't too shabby, either! XD
Let's move on from housing and talk about my least favorite part of the tutorial: learning to use the Shopz. I despise this step because you always use your money that you just earned from moving furniture and opening your inventory to buy some of the worst clothes Woozworld has to offer. In recent years, they've begun to make these clothes not poor, but the lowest possible rare. So you go in and think, "Whoopty-doo! I get to trade this hardly rare item for another item of barely any value!" But here's the catch: the items are non-transferrable. So now you have no money, and no clothes to trade, and so now you're poor again. That, kids, is why our economy is now on the same route Nemo took to get back to the ocean. (*SPOILER ALERT* For those of you who haven't seen Nemo, he gets flushed down the toilet.)
But then I saw a beautiful example of change. Unfortunately, the item you bought in the Shopz for the tutorial is still non-transferrable, but guess what is? Ok, I'll tell you. The item you chose for your initial wardrobe! That's right! Those actually slightly rare items you initially chose to wear are now transferrable!
Look at that!! I can trade my hair! (I know it's not rare hair, but I bought hair in the Shopz, so it was the only thing I could take off to show you.)
I don't know about you, but I've had my eye on a new face, which I can now get if I choose to make a new Woozen!
But my favorite new tutorial addition has to be the Logout option. You no longer are forced to save a new account when you make it!
So if you just want a new face, you don't have to save your new account to do so! I guess the WoozWorld servers were just cluttered up with so many unused accounts that they decided this feature was needed. (My unused accounts might have made up a large percentile of those) XD
Signing off, I'm SarahWooz: Trial Blogger.
